Connects four HDMI sources to one display with five viewing modes at up to 1080p 60Hz and transmits signals up to 100 feet
The FOCUSTEC KVM switch connects four HDMI sources such as computers, consoles or media players to a single monitor, TV or projector. It presents all active inputs simultaneously through five selectable viewing modes. The unit operates at up to 1080p resolution at 60Hz and requires no driver installation.
Verify that each connected device can output at one of the supported video formats: 1080p at 60Hz or 30Hz, 1080i, 720p, 576p, 576i, 480p or 480i. The switch passes PCM 2.0 stereo audio only; it does not decode Dolby Digital or DTS bitstreams. Ensure your display accepts the chosen input resolution and that source devices are set to PCM output.
The device draws power from the connected USB port and adds no active cooling, so it runs silently. HDMI signals can be transmitted up to 100 feet without quality loss using standard cables. Power consumption is minimal and typical of bus-powered USB peripherals.

The unit itself is supplied; you will need to provide four HDMI cables for the source devices and one HDMI cable for the display. USB cables for keyboard and mouse are also required if you want to switch peripherals.
The five modes let you show one source full-screen, two sources side-by-side, three sources with one large and two small, four equal quadrants, or a custom layout; pick the mode that matches how many devices you want to view at once.
Each HDMI input can deliver up to 1080p at 60 Hz; the switch passes that resolution to the display in any mode, but the monitor must also support 1080p 60 Hz for the full frame rate.
