4-Port USB HDMI KVM Switch for Four Computers

The FOCUSTEC switch lets four computers share one HDMI monitor, a keyboard, a mouse and up to four USB 2.0 peripherals. Switching is done with individual push buttons on the unit. No external power adapter is needed because the switch draws power from the connected computers via USB. The box includes the necessary USB and HDMI cables for a complete setup.

Suits multi-PC desks; not for high-refresh 4K

This switch suits home offices, control rooms or streaming stations where several PCs, laptops or consoles share a single display and USB devices. It supports wireless keyboards, mice and mechanical gaming keyboards. Buyers who need 4K at refresh rates above 30 Hz or who require more than four computer ports should consider a different solution.

Max video 4K 30 Hz over HDMI 1.4

The single specification that decides fit is the maximum video output of 4K at 30 Hz over HDMI 1.4. Lower resolutions such as 1080P and 3D video are also supported. If your workflow demands higher refresh rates at 4K, this switch will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

Will the USB 2.0 ports need replacing after heavy daily use?

The four USB 2.0 ports are built into the switch and are not user-replaceable; if a port fails the whole unit would need service.

What resolution limit appears first when running four PCs continuously at 4K?

The HDMI 1.4 link caps sustained output at 4K 30 Hz, so that refresh ceiling is reached before any thermal throttle.

How much heat or fan noise does the USB-powered switch produce during all-day operation?

With no external adapter and no fan, the unit runs silently and stays only slightly warm thanks to low USB power draw.
