Share one monitor and three USB 2.0 peripherals across four computers with 1920 x 1440 resolution and a wired desktop controller
This FOCUSTEC KVM switch lets one VGA monitor, keyboard, mouse and two additional USB 2.0 peripherals control four computers or laptops. It targets office workers, teachers and home users who need to toggle between several desktops without extra displays. The unit ships with four integrated KVM cables and a wired desktop controller for remote switching. No software drivers or external power adapter are required.
Replacing the habit of unplugging and replugging VGA and USB leads, the switch adds instant port selection via front-panel buttons or the desktop remote. LED indicators show the active port at a glance. The jump is worth it when daily workflows involve frequent context changes between multiple machines and a single monitor setup is preferred over a multi-head arrangement.
The switch passes VGA signals up to 1920 x 1440 and handles DDC auto-identification for plug-and-play operation. Three USB 2.0 ports share keyboard, mouse, printer, scanner or storage drives across the four connected systems. It does not support higher-resolution digital interfaces, audio switching or USB 3.0 speeds, so users needing 4K output or faster peripheral bandwidth should look elsewhere.

Each computer connects through one supplied 2-in-1 cable that carries both the VGA video and the USB 2.0 data, so four combined cables run from the switch to the four hosts.
Press the button on the front panel or use the wired desktop controller; the common error is plugging an illuminated mechanical keyboard into the USB 2.0 ports, which can overload the port power budget.
The four integrated 2-in-1 VGA/USB cables and the wired desktop controller are the items that see repeated handling and are the typical candidates for future replacement.
