Four-computer dual-monitor KVM

This DisplayPort KVM switch connects four desktops or laptops to a single keyboard, mouse and two monitors. It provides four inputs and two outputs for extended or mirrored desktop configurations. The dual-monitor function works only on computers that already support dual-screen output.

DP 1.2 4K@60Hz cabling needs

The unit conforms to the DP 1.2 protocol and delivers up to 3840x2160 at 60 Hz when both the graphics card and the monitors support that mode. Each computer requires two DisplayPort cables to the switch, and cables are not included. A 5 V external power adapter is supplied for stable operation.

Front-panel and remote switching

Users change the active computer with a single press of the front-panel buttons or with the wired remote switch that is included. LED indicators show which system is currently selected. Hotkey switching is not available, so control always relies on the physical buttons or the remote.

Questions about this item

Will the DisplayPort 1.2 link hold 3840x2160 at 60 Hz during long sessions without dropping frames?

The switch conforms to DP 1.2 and is rated for 3840x2160 at 60 Hz; sustained throughput depends on each computer's graphics output and cable quality.

Does the unit run hot or make noise when powered continuously for a full workday?

It has no fan and draws power from the included 5 V adapter, so it stays silent and only warm to the touch under constant use.

What cables and host ports must I already have to connect four computers to two monitors?

Each computer needs two DisplayPort outputs and you need eight DisplayPort cables plus the supplied 5 V power adapter; no cables are included.
