A dual-monitor DisplayPort 1.4 KVM switch shares two computers across two displays at up to 8K@30Hz or 4K@144Hz with four USB 2.0 ports and a wired remote
The FOCUSTEC 2-in-2-out DisplayPort 1.4 KVM switch lets two computers or laptops share dual monitors, one keyboard and one mouse. It supports extended or mirrored desktop modes across both displays. Four integrated USB 2.0 ports handle keyboards, mice, printers and scanners. Driver-free operation works with Windows, Mac OS and Linux.
The switch maintains a stable 8K@30Hz or 4K@144Hz signal when toggling between systems without blanking or re-handshake delays. Downward compatibility with DisplayPort 1.2 ensures older GPUs still pass 4K@60Hz or 2560x1440@144Hz. Final resolution depends on the connected graphics cards, monitors and cables.
No external power adapter is required, so the unit draws all power from the host USB ports and runs without fans. The front-panel button and wired remote both switch inputs instantly, while an LED shows the active computer. Zero moving parts means no audible noise during continuous office or teaching use.

The unit requires no external power and has no fan, so it runs silently and generates negligible heat during continuous use.
Each computer needs two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs and a USB Type-A port for the upstream link; the switch includes the necessary DP and USB cables.
Yes, the switch is backward compatible with DP 1.2, so 2560x1440 at 144 Hz and 4K at 60 Hz are supported on legacy displays.
