Dual Monitor KVM Switch

This FOCUSTEC KVM switch lets you control two computers with one keyboard and mouse while sharing two monitors and four USB 2.0 peripherals. It supports extended desktop mode for separate screens and copy mode for mirrored output. The package includes a desktop controller and cables for immediate setup.

Suited for dual PC desk setups

Ideal for users who need to operate two systems side by side with a single input set and shared accessories. Not suitable for anyone requiring 4K at 60 Hz, USB 3.0 speeds, HD webcam support or reliable MacBook Pro compatibility. Buyers needing more than two computer ports or higher refresh rates should consider other options.

4K at 30 Hz HDMI limit

The switch passes video up to 4K resolution at 30 Hz and also handles 1440p at 60 Hz and 1080p at 60 Hz. Achieving 4K requires HDMI 2.0 cables and 4K-capable sources and displays. This refresh ceiling is the deciding factor for high-resolution workflows.

Questions about this item

What cables must I already have to connect two computers and two monitors to this KVM?

You need four HDMI cables (two per computer) plus two USB-A-to-USB-B cables to link each computer to the switch; HDMI 2.0 cables are required for 4K@30Hz.

Will my older 1080P@60Hz monitors work with the 4K@30Hz capability of this switch?

Yes, the switch accepts mixed resolutions such as 1080P@60Hz, 1440P@60Hz and 4K@30Hz simultaneously, so legacy monitors display correctly.

How can I verify the switch is passing 4K@30Hz to both screens after setup?

Set each computer to 4K@30Hz output, then check the monitor on-screen menus — both should show that resolution and refresh rate.
