Two-PC HDMI KVM Switch

The FOCUSTEC KVM Switch lets one monitor, keyboard and mouse control two computers at up to 4K resolution and 60 Hz refresh. A front-panel button toggles the active system and an LED shows which computer is selected. The package includes two USB cables and two HDMI cables so both hosts can be connected immediately.

Check host video and OS support

Each computer must provide an HDMI 2.0 output capable of 4K at 60 Hz to reach the stated resolution. The switch requires no driver and works with Windows 10, 8, 8.1, 7, Vista, XP, Mac OS, Linux and Chrome OS. Hot-plug is supported, but the unit does not offer hotkey switching.

Slideway mount and cabling

A supplied slideway bracket holds the switch in a fixed position on the desk, keeping cables tidy and making it easy to plug or unplug peripherals. Two integrated HDMI cables and two USB cables run from the switch to the computers, so no extra leads are needed for a typical two-system setup.

Questions about this item

What cables and accessories come with the FOCUSTEC KVM switch, and what must I provide separately?

The package includes two USB cables and two HDMI cables plus a mounting slideway; you only need to supply the monitor, keyboard and mouse you want to share.

The title mentions 4K@60Hz and HDMI 2.0 — which version should I pick if I only have 1080p displays?

Choose this model; it handles 4K at 60 Hz via HDMI 2.0 and will downscale automatically to 1080p or any lower resolution your monitors support.

What does the 4K@60Hz rating mean when the switch is connected to my two PCs and one monitor?

It means the switch passes a 4K signal at 60 frames per second from either computer to the shared display, so you get full 4K smoothness on the active system.
