Extends four USB 2.0 ports up to 196 ft over Cat5e/6/6a/7 cable at 480 Mbps with driver-free operation across Windows, macOS, Android and Linux
This powered USB 2.0 KVM extender carries keyboard, mouse and peripheral signals up to 196 ft (60 m) over a single Cat5e/6/6a/7 cable. The transmitter draws power from the host USB port while the receiver uses a lockable DC 12 V adapter for a secure connection. It delivers up to 480 Mbps bandwidth and is certified to FCC and CE standards.
The four USB 2.0 ports on the receiver let you operate a keyboard, mouse and up to two webcams simultaneously from a distance. It works with Windows, macOS, Android and Linux without driver installation. Buyers who need USB 3.x speeds, video extension or more than four downstream ports should look at a different solution.
The link comfortably supports standard keyboards, mice, flash drives and dual 720p webcams over the full 60 m run. Bandwidth runs out when multiple high-throughput devices such as external SSDs or 1080p capture cards are active together. ESD protection is rated to ±8 kV air-gap and ±4 kV contact discharge for robust operation.
