USB 2.0 over Cat5e/6 Extender for remote peripherals

This extender kit sends a USB 2.0 signal up to 165 ft over standard Cat5e or Cat6 cable. It is built for installers who need keyboards, mice, webcams or touch screens at a distance from the host PC. No driver installation is required on Windows, macOS, Android or Linux.

Two downstream ports with 480 Mbps headroom

The receiver provides two USB Type-A ports that share the 480 Mbps high-speed bandwidth. Typical HID devices, webcams and audio interfaces run comfortably within this limit. Bulk endpoints such as high-resolution video capture or fast external storage will saturate the link and may drop frames or throttle.

Power over cable with single adapter at receiver

Only the receiver unit needs the included power adapter; the transmitter draws its power over the same Cat cable. The link is specified to 130 ft (40 m) for reliable operation, beyond which signal integrity degrades. The units are passively cooled and produce no audible noise in normal use.
