Adaptive 18W wall charger

The Fonus 18W Adaptive Fast USB charger delivers up to 18 watts through Quick Charge 3.0 for compatible Samsung and ZTE devices. It automatically detects the required voltage and supplies up to 2.4 A for non-QC hardware. A six-foot Type-C cable is included in the box.

Bundled six-foot Type-C cable

The included cable supports the same fast-charging current so the full 18 W can reach the device without a separate purchase. Its length allows comfortable use while the phone remains plugged into a wall outlet across the room.

For Samsung and ZTE Quick Charge owners

Buyers with a Galaxy Tab S3 9.7, S9+, S9, S8+, S8, Note9, Note8, ZTE ZMax Pro Z981, Max XL Duo LTE, Grand X4, X3 or X Max 2 will see up to 75 per cent faster charging. Devices without Quick Charge support revert to standard 2.4 A speeds, so users needing proprietary fast-charge protocols should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 6 ft Type-C cable need replacing if the connector loosens over time?

The included 6 ft Type-C cable is built for fast-charging use; if the connector loosens, replacing the cable restores full 18 W adaptive charging.

What limits sustained 18 W output during a long charging session?

High-temperature, high-current and voltage-surge protection will throttle the charger if internal heat or input spikes exceed safe levels.

How much heat or fan noise does the charger produce when running all day?

The charger has no fan; it relies on a durable casing to dissipate heat, so operation is silent and warmth stays within normal limits for an 18 W adapter.
