Dual HDMI 4K Adapter for Windows and macOS

This USB-C hub adds two HDMI ports, a USB 3.0 connection and 100W Power Delivery to a laptop. Windows devices can drive two external monitors in extended mode while macOS is limited to mirror mode only. The adapter supports 4K at 60Hz on a single display or 4K at 30Hz across both screens depending on the host capability.

Driver-free setup with known host limits

Installation is plug-and-play on supported Windows and macOS laptops. The supplier lists a wide range of HP, Lenovo, Dell, Microsoft, Samsung, Huawei and other models that are confirmed incompatible, so the adapter will not work with those devices. No driver download is required for compatible hosts.

Suits Windows users needing dual extended monitors

Ideal for professionals who want two extra 4K screens from one USB-C port with pass-through charging up to 90W. Not suitable for macOS users who require independent extended desktops, nor for owners of the specific incompatible laptops, tablets or phones listed by the supplier.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the adapter is delivering 4K at 60 Hz on a single external display after connecting it?

On Windows, open Display Settings and check that the external monitor lists 4K at 60 Hz; on macOS the adapter mirrors the built-in screen, so the external display will match the internal resolution and refresh rate.

What comes in the box and do I need to buy any cables or power adapters separately?

The package includes only the adapter itself; you must supply your own HDMI cables for each monitor and a USB-C power brick of up to 100 W for pass-through charging.

Which display mode should I expect on Windows versus macOS with this 89N model?

Windows laptops support dual-monitor extended mode for three separate screens, while macOS devices are limited to mirror mode only due to system restrictions.
