Two-Person Backpacking Tent

The Forceatt tent sleeps two people and weighs 2.5 kilograms. Its interior floor measures 225 by 135 centimetres with a peak height of 110 centimetres. Two D-shaped doors and two vestibules give each person their own entry and gear space. The 7001 series aluminium poles keep the structure light and freestanding.

Upgrade From Heavier Or Single-Door Shelters

A switch makes sense when your current tent weighs more than 2.5 kilograms or lacks separate vestibules for wet kit. The 3000 mm waterproof rating on the fly and welded floor handles sustained rain better than basic summer models. Quick three-minute pitching with the 7001 poles saves time on short overnight trips.

Check Packed Size And Season Rating

Verify the packed dimensions fit your rucksack before ordering. The 3000 mm hydrostatic head suits three-season use; buyers who need four-season snow loading or a higher 5000 mm rating should look elsewhere. Ensure two-door access matches your campsite layout and that the 110 centimetre sitting height works for your stature.

Questions about this item

What floor area and peak height does the 2.5 kg tent provide for two people?

The inner floor measures 225 by 135 cm with a peak height of 110 cm, giving two occupants 3.0 square metres of sleeping space.

How do the 7001 series aluminium poles connect during the three-minute pitch?

Each pole section slides into colour-coded sleeves and clips onto corner grommets; the step most people miss is tensioning the reflective guylines before staking the vestibules.

When should the 3000 mm rated flysheet seams be resealed for continued waterproofing?

Reapply seam sealer once a season or after heavy UV exposure; the welded floor rarely needs attention unless punctured.
