Scale and Purpose

This 1/64 scale diecast model replicates a Willys MB Jeep with trailer in olive drab weathered finish. It is aimed at adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts who value officially licensed military miniatures with authentic detailing.

Display Constraints

The model measures approximately 3.75 inches long, 1.125 inches wide and 1.25 inches high, so it fits compact display cases or dioramas. Rolling rubber tyres allow positioning but the small scale limits visible interior detail and the weathering effect is factory-applied, not adjustable.

Installation Notes

The item arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging inside a plastic display showcase, ready for shelf placement without assembly. The only common issue is the delicate driver figure or trailer hitch loosening during handling, which can be avoided by lifting the model from its base rather than the accessories.

Questions about this item

Is the 1/64 scale the right size for a compact display shelf?

At roughly 3.75 inches long and 1.125 inches wide, the model fits easily on a narrow shelf while still showing the jeep, trailer and driver figure in full detail.

What does the 1/64 scale mean for the level of detail I will see?

True-to-scale exterior moulding, authentic weathering, real rubber tyres and a sculpted driver figure are all reproduced at 1/64, so every panel line and accessory remains visible despite the small footprint.

How does the diecast metal construction affect handling and rolling?

The diecast body gives the jeep a solid, realistic weight, while the plastic parts keep the rolling wheels free-moving and the tyres supple for smooth desk-top operation.
