140W charger for MacBook Pro and Air

This 140W USB-C power adapter is built for MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch models from 2021 to 2025, plus MacBook Air 13-inch and 15-inch models from the same period. It ships with a 6.6 ft USB-C to Magnetic 3 cable that includes an LED indicator. The unit is designed for users who need full 140W output on compatible Apple Silicon machines.

Magnetic 3 cable with dynamic power management

The included cable uses a Magnetic 3 connector rather than a standard USB-C plug, and its built-in dynamic software and hardware adjust power delivery to the battery's routine. The supplier states this reduces wear and can extend battery lifespan by up to 2x compared with a regular USB-C to USB-C connection. The adapter delivers 140W, exceeding standard 96W and 70W chargers.

Fits 2021-2025 MacBook Pro and Air only

This charger works with MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch (M1, M2, M3, M4) and MacBook Air 13-inch and 15-inch released between 2021 and 2025. It is not compatible with any MacBook models released between 2012 and 2020. Buyers with older MagSafe 1 or MagSafe 2 machines, or those needing a pure USB-C cable for non-Apple devices, should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What does the 140 W rating mean when I plug this into my MacBook Pro 16?

The adapter delivers up to 140 W over USB-C Power Delivery, so a 16-inch MacBook Pro with an M1, M2, M3 or M4 Pro/Max chip can charge at its maximum supported rate, reaching roughly 60 to 80 percent in about 30 minutes.

Which USB-C charging standard does the brick use, and what does that limit in practice?

It uses USB-C Power Delivery up to 140 W; the practical ceiling is the MacBook's own charge controller, so a 14- or 16-inch Pro draws the full 140 W while a 13- or 15-inch Air tops out at the lower wattage its hardware allows.

What do I need on my desk or in my bag to use the 6.6 ft magnetic cable?

The cable ends in a Magnetic 3 connector that snaps onto the MagSafe 3 port of 2021-2025 MacBook Pro 14, Pro 16, Air 13 and Air 15 models; no extra adapter or mount is required, just a free USB-C port on the power brick.
