96W USB-C Adapter for MacBook Pro and Air

This 96W USB-C AC adapter is built for MacBook Pro 14 and 16 inch models and MacBook Air 13 and 15 inch models from 2021 through 2025. It supports M1, M2, M3 and M4 chips and delivers higher efficiency than 70W, 67W or 35W chargers. The unit is new and intended for owners who need a direct replacement or spare power supply. It does not suit buyers who want a multi-port desktop charger or a lower-wattage travel brick.

6.6FT Braided Cable with LED Status Light

A 6.6FT USB-C to USB-C braided cable is integrated with the adapter. The cable uses thicker copper wire and a seamless nylon braid tested to over 20000 bends for extended lifespan. An LED on the connector glows yellow while charging and turns green when the battery reaches full. The fixed cable means users who prefer a detachable cord or a different connector type cannot swap it out.

Fast Charging with Battery Health Management

The adapter can charge a MacBook Pro 14 inch (M2 2022) or MacBook Air 13 inch (M2 2022) to 50% in 30 minutes. Built-in dynamic hardware and software learn daily charging routines to keep maximum battery capacity at 98% and reduce aging. No fan or active cooling is described, so operation is silent. Buyers needing detailed thermal ratings or standby power figures will not find them here.

Questions about this item

Does the 96W USB-C adapter actually deliver 96W or is it capped at a lower rate?

It provides up to 96W output, so a MacBook Pro 14 or 16 inch can charge at full speed rather than being limited to 70W or 67W.

What clearance does the braided cable need behind the laptop?

The cable is 6.6FT long with a USB-C to MagSafe 3 connector; the braided nylon adds minimal bulk, so it fits behind most desks without extra depth.

How do you connect the adapter and what step do people miss?

Plug the AC adapter into mains, attach the MagSafe 3 end to the MacBook, then watch the LED — yellow means charging, green means full; skipping the LED check is the common mistake.
