FortiGate-40F hardware appliance

The FortiGate-40F is a compact firewall and network security appliance designed for small office or branch deployments. It delivers integrated threat protection and secure connectivity in a single unit. The bundle includes the hardware plus a one-year FortiCare support contract.

Small offices needing integrated security

This appliance suits organisations that want a unified threat management platform with included support coverage. It is not intended for high-throughput data centres or environments requiring multiple redundant appliances. Buyers needing advanced clustering features should evaluate larger models.

Entry-level throughput with bundled support

The device handles typical small-branch traffic loads such as web filtering, application control and VPN termination. Performance will saturate under heavy concurrent inspection workloads or large-scale SSL decryption. The one-year FortiCare entitlement provides firmware updates and technical assistance during the initial deployment period.
