Application Fit

The Fostoria MM-46A is a 600V single-phase electric infrared heater built for surface or suspended mounting in commercial and industrial settings. Its aluminium housing and quartz-lamp element deliver 12,454 BtuH across a 60-degree beam pattern, making it suitable for spot heating in warehouses, loading docks or covered outdoor areas where hardwired 600V supply is available.

Who Should Look Elsewhere

Facilities without a 600V single-phase circuit cannot use this unit, and the hardwired connection rules out portable or plug-in deployment. Buyers needing lower-voltage heaters, wider beam coverage or integrated thermostatic controls will not find those features here.

Deciding Specification

The 600V AC, 1-phase electrical requirement is the single specification that determines whether this heater can be installed; the building must provide that exact supply and a hardwired connection point.
