Freefly 7.8in ARRI Start/Stop Cable

This cable connects a MoVI Pro gimbal to ARRI cameras for remote record control. It is built for camera operators who need reliable start/stop triggering from the gimbal handgrip. The short 7.8in length keeps the rig tidy on set. Filmmakers using other camera brands or longer cable runs will need a different solution.

Thermals noise and power

The passive cable draws no power and generates no heat or noise during operation. Its custom high-flex construction stays supple in cold conditions without stiffening. No active electronics means zero latency in the trigger signal. There are no fans, batteries or firmware to manage.

LEMO 1B 7 Pin to Molex Microfit

Connector A is a LEMO 1B 7 Pin plug and Connector B is a Molex Microfit socket. This specific pinout carries the ARRI start/stop command up to 600 feet from the gimbal. The 200mm cable uses ultra-thin, lightweight wire for minimal drag. Verify both connectors match your camera and gimbal ports before purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the LEMO 1B 7 Pin and Molex Microfit ends to the MoVI Pro?

Plug the LEMO 1B 7 Pin connector into the ARRI Start/Stop port on the camera and the Molex Microfit end into the MoVI Pro accessory port; the 200 mm length leaves no slack, so route it before tightening.

Will the custom high-flex cable need periodic replacement?

The ultra-thin, lightweight jacket is built for repeated on-set bending, but inspect the strain reliefs after heavy use; replace if the insulation shows cuts or the pins loosen.

At what distance does the start/stop signal become unreliable?

The cable itself is passive; the 600 feet figure applies to the wireless link driving the MoVI Pro, not to this 7.8 in tether.
