Precision Filter for DJI Mavic 4 Pro
The Freewell ND16/PL is a 4-stop neutral-density polarizer built specifically for the DJI Mavic 4 Pro camera. It combines light reduction with glare control so aerial photographers can keep shutter speeds low enough for cinematic motion blur while cutting reflections from water, glass and wet roads.
Limits of a Fixed 4-Stop Filter
A single ND16/PL density works well in bright daylight but cannot be adjusted when lighting changes. In lower light the 4-stop reduction may force the shutter too slow for sharp frames, and in extreme sun it may still leave the sensor overexposed at the minimum aperture.
Optical Glass with Gimbal-Safe Mount
Premium optical glass preserves sharpness and colour fidelity across the frame. The filter uses Freewell's Gimbal Safe Technology for a secure, lightweight attachment that does not strain the Mavic 4 Pro gimbal, keeping footage stable during flight and allowing quick swaps between shoots.

Questions about this item
Which Freewell filter model should I choose for my DJI Mavic 4 Pro?
The ND16/PL filter provides a 4-stop light reduction combined with polarization, ideal for bright daylight to achieve smooth motion blur and cut reflections from water or glass.
What does the 4-stop reduction actually do when I am flying the Mavic 4 Pro?
It cuts incoming light by four stops so you can use slower shutter speeds in strong sun, giving cinematic motion blur while the polarizer deepens skies and removes glare.
How does the filter attach to the Mavic 4 Pro and will it affect the gimbal?
It uses Freewell's Gimbal Safe Technology for a secure, lightweight fit that does not strain the gimbal, ensuring stable, shake-free footage during flight.
