- Optimised for DJI Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 Cine drones
- Shoot at F 2.8 4.0 aperture for sharp aerial images
Expanded Vision for Mavic 3
The kit attaches directly to the DJI Mavic 3 or Mavic 3 Cine camera, adding a wide-angle lens that extends the field of view to 125 degrees for broader landscapes. An anamorphic lens is also included, providing a 1.18x desqueeze factor that creates a widescreen cinematic aspect ratio. Both lenses are engineered for an optimal aperture range of F 2.8 to 4.0 to maintain sharpness.
Light Control and Optical Performance
Four neutral density filters (ND8, ND16, ND32, and ND64) thread onto the lenses to reduce light entering the sensor. This allows the operator to use wider apertures or slower shutter speeds in bright conditions without overexposure. The glass construction is designed to preserve image clarity while managing exposure across varying daylight intensities.
Software Dependent Anamorphic Workflow
The anamorphic lens captures compressed footage that must be de-squeezed in post-production software to achieve the intended widescreen look. The ND filters require no software and function immediately by limiting light transmission. This kit is not suited for pilots who only shoot standard perspective video or who prefer to avoid editing steps for lens correction.

Questions about this item
How do I attach the wide-angle lens to my Mavic 3 and what step is often missed?
Snap the magnetic wide-angle lens onto the drone's camera housing, then secure the locking ring; the step often missed is tightening the ring fully so the lens cannot rotate during flight.
What maintenance will the ND8, ND16, ND32 and ND64 filters need over time?
Clean the coated glass with a microfibre cloth and lens solution after dusty flights; store each filter in its padded slot to prevent coating scratches that degrade light reduction.
At what aperture does the anamorphic lens start to lose sharpness during long recording sessions?
The anamorphic lens is engineered for an optimal aperture range of F 2.8 to 4.0; stopping down beyond F 4.0 reduces sharpness noticeably during sustained use.
