Extra-long USB-C cable for charging and data

The FREMO S22 is a 15-foot USB-C to USB-C cable rated for 5 Gbps data transfer and 60 W power delivery. It connects two USB-C devices such as a phone, tablet, laptop or console without an intermediary adapter. The male-to-male connectors are housed in reinforced aluminium shells and the cable uses a nylon-braided jacket for durability.

Braided construction and reinforced connectors

The nylon-braided exterior resists tangling and the aluminium connector housings are designed to withstand repeated bending and pulling. These physical features aim to maintain a secure connection over long-term use. The 15-foot length lets you operate a device while it charges from a distant wall outlet or power strip.

Suits users needing length and 60 W power

This cable suits anyone who needs a single 15-foot link for 60 W charging and 5 Gbps file transfers between USB-C devices. Buyers who require video output, 10 Gbps or higher data rates, or power delivery above 60 W should look at a different specification.

Questions about this item

Will the nylon braid or aluminium connector housings need replacing after heavy daily use?

The cable uses a tangle-free nylon braid and reinforced aluminium connector housings built to withstand twists, pulls and bends for long-lasting reliability.

What limits the 5 Gbps transfer rate during sustained large-file copies?

The USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface caps the transfer speed at 5 Gbps, so sustained copies cannot exceed that bandwidth.

Does the 15-foot length cause noticeable voltage drop or heat when delivering 60 W continuously?

The cable supports 60 W (20 V / 3 A) charging; pair it with a compatible 60 W or higher PD power adapter to maintain full speed.
