Hands-Free Car Speakerphone

This wireless speakerphone clips to a sun visor and provides hands-free calling and music playback for drivers who want to keep their hands on the wheel. It uses a 3 W speaker and a noise-cancelling microphone to deliver clear audio in traffic. The built-in 1000 mAh rechargeable battery powers the unit. A single charge yields up to 20 hours of talk time and 1400 hours of standby.

Ideal for daily commuters.

Commuters and road-trippers who need a quick, portable way to take calls safely will find the visor clip and simple controls convenient. It also suits anyone who switches between two paired phones or a phone and a tablet during the day. Buyers who want a permanently wired, dashboard-integrated system or a unit that charges via the vehicle's own power without a separate cable should look elsewhere.

Battery life decides suitability

The 1000 mAh battery delivers the quoted 20 hours of talking time and 1400 hours of standby, so the device can cover several days of typical driving before needing a recharge. If your daily routine demands longer continuous talk time than 20 hours between charges, this speakerphone will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the speakerphone on the sun visor and pair it with my phone?

Clip the unit onto the sun visor, press the power button until the indicator flashes, then select the speakerphone from your phone’s Bluetooth menu to complete pairing.

What part will need replacement first and how is it serviced?

The internal 1000 mAh battery is sealed inside the housing; when it no longer holds a charge the whole speakerphone must be replaced.

Which limit appears first during a long day of calls?

The 20-hour talk-time rating is reached well before the 1400-hour standby figure, so battery depletion is the first constraint under sustained use.
