Fall-Arrest Rope Grab for 5/8" Lifeline
The FRONTLINE RGSS58 is a galvanised alloy-steel rope grab designed for workers on vertical lifelines. It serves construction, maintenance and utility crews who need a fall-arrest device that travels with them and locks instantly during a fall. The unit includes a connecting eye for lanyard attachment.
5/8-Inch Lifeline Compatibility
This grab is engineered exclusively for vertical lifelines measuring 5/8 inch in diameter. The double locking closing mechanism secures the device to the rope, while the anti-panic feature prevents accidental release during a descent. Using a different rope diameter will prevent proper engagement.
Integrates With Personal Fall-Arrest Systems
The connecting eye accepts a compatible lanyard or energy absorber to complete a personal fall-arrest system. The self-tracking action moves the grab up or down without manual adjustment, freeing the user's hands for climbing tasks. A suitable harness and rated anchorage are required for the system to function.
