16-colour rainbow pencil set

The FUAOIS HB-001 pack contains 16 rainbow coloured pencils made from wax with black wooden barrels. Each pencil arrives pre-sharpened for immediate drawing, colouring or calligraphy work. The set weighs 0.1 kg and is supplied as a single pack.

Replaces basic crayons or single-colour pencils

The jump is worth it when a child or beginner wants a wider palette without buying multiple packs. The broad wax cores suit colouring books, sketching and doodling on paper. They are not suited to fine technical detail or professional archival work.

Wax-core limits on non-paper surfaces

The wax formulation adheres best to paper and card; it does not bond reliably to glass, plastic or fabric. Heavy pressure can cause the core to crumble rather than blend. The pencils are not labelled non-toxic, so adult supervision is advised for younger users.

Questions about this item

What diameter sharpener suits the 16 rainbow pencils?

The pencils are listed as broad size, so a standard large-hole sharpener is required; a narrow sharpener will not fit the barrel.

How do I avoid breaking the wax cores when I first use them?

They arrive pre-sharpened; apply light pressure on the first strokes instead of pressing hard, which is the step most users skip.

When will the 16 pencils need replacing?

Replace a pencil once its wax core wears down to the wood casing; the pack contains 16 colours, so individual colours run out at different rates.
