Fullcom Tech LP140WH8(TP)(D2) 14.0" laptop screen

14.0" WXGA replacement panel

This 14.0-inch LCD screen is a brand-new substitute panel for laptops that originally shipped with a WXGA HD diode backlight. It is intended for repair technicians and owners who need to replace a cracked or faulty display in a compatible 14-inch chassis. The panel matches the LP140WH8(TP)(D2) form factor and connector layout used in several models. Buyers must verify their original screen's backlight type, size, connector and resolution before ordering.

Upgrading from a damaged original

The panel replaces a broken, dim or pixel-defective factory screen of the same 14-inch WXGA specification. The jump is worth it when the existing display has physical damage, backlight failure or dead pixels that exceed the ISO-9241 allowance of one bright pixel, one dark pixel and a few sub-pixel faults. It is not for buyers who want a higher resolution, a different aspect ratio, a touch layer or an IPS upgrade that the original chassis does not support.

Straightforward swap with connector care

Installation follows the typical laptop screen replacement procedure: remove the bezel, disconnect the old panel's video cable, fit the new unit and reconnect. The most common issue is a mismatched connector or backlight type caused by ordering without checking the original screen's part number. We may ship a compatible model with the same or better specifications, so test the panel before final assembly to confirm fit and image quality.
