Purpose-built protection

The Fusion IDXCW60614 dust cover is made specifically for the MS-RA70 marine stereo. It shields the unit from salt spray, dust and UV exposure when the helm is not in use. Boat owners who leave electronics mounted in open cockpits gain a simple barrier that preserves button feel and display clarity.

Lightweight shield

Weighing 0.2 units, the cover adds negligible mass to the console and requires no power or wiring. It sits flush over the 5" x 7" face of the RA70, so wind noise and vibration stay unchanged while the stereo remains sealed against the elements.

Direct-fit accessory

The cover carries part number 010-12466-01 and matches the RA70 series cut-out exactly, so no trimming or adapters are needed. Installation is a press-on action that takes seconds, leaving the stereo ready for immediate use when the cover is removed.

Questions about this item

How do I install the dust cover on my RA70 stereo, and what step do people often miss?

Snap the cover over the front panel of the MS-RA70 until it seats firmly; the step often missed is pressing evenly around the entire perimeter so the seal engages fully.

What maintenance or replacement will this cover need over time?

Rinse with fresh water after salt exposure and inspect the sealing edge; replace the cover if the rim cracks or the fit loosens.

What limit appears first during sustained marine use?

UV degradation of the plastic is the first limit; prolonged sun exposure will eventually brittle the material and compromise the seal.
