Big-button corded phone for amplified calls

The Future Call FC-8814 is a corded telephone built with oversized keypad buttons and a bright visual ringer. It targets users who need louder audio and clearer dialling, such as people with hearing or vision impairments. Hearing-aid compatibility and a two-way speakerphone with volume control support hands-free conversations. The handset delivers amplified volume up to 40dB.

Simple desk or wall installation

Mount the base on a desk or a wall using the integrated mounting points, then plug the line cord into a standard telephone socket. No batteries or external power supply are required for basic operation. The oversized buttons reduce mis-dials, and the visual ringer flashes brightly for incoming calls. Ensure the wall plate is secure before hanging the unit to avoid strain on the cord.

Amplified volume up to 40dB

The key specification is the maximum amplified output of 40dB, which determines whether the handset is loud enough for the intended user. Buyers who need higher gain or wireless mobility should consider other solutions. The package includes a 180-day warranty from the supplier.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the amplified volume is reaching the stated 40dB level after I connect the phone?

Listen for a noticeably louder ring and conversation level compared with a standard handset; the visual ringer will flash brightly and the two-way speakerphone lets you adjust volume until speech sounds clear and strong at the maximum setting.

What comes in the box with the Future Call FC-8814 and what must I purchase separately?

The package includes the corded base, handset, coiled cord, line cord and mounting hardware for desk or wall installation; no batteries or external power supply are required, so nothing extra is needed for basic operation.

Which version of the FC-8814 should I choose for the best hearing-aid compatibility and visual alerts?

The single model listed already provides hearing-aid compatibility, amplified volume up to 40dB and a bright visual ringer, so there are no alternative versions or capacities to compare.
