Leather Case for DP2400 Series

This leather case is built specifically for Motorola DP2400 and DP2400e two-way radios. It provides a protective shell for daily professional use. The case includes a fixed 3-inch D-ring loop for secure belt attachment. It matches Motorola part numbers PMLN5864 and PMLN5864A.

314g Weight and Carry Capacity

The case weighs 314g and adds minimal bulk to the radio. It comfortably handles the radio body and standard battery pack. It runs out of space if oversized extended batteries or bulky speaker microphones are fitted. The fixed loop does not rotate or swivel.

Fixed D-Ring Interface Limits

The 3-inch fixed D-ring fits standard duty belts up to that width. It does not accommodate wider tactical belts or MOLLE webbing without an adapter. The leather material requires occasional conditioning to maintain flexibility. The fixed mount prevents quick detachment of the radio from the belt.

Questions about this item

Will this leather case fit my existing Motorola DP2400 and DP2400e radios without modification?

Yes, the case is designed for DP2400 and DP2400e models and matches part numbers PMLN5864 and PMLN5864A, so it fits those radios directly.

How can I confirm the 3-inch fixed loop D-ring is secured correctly after attaching the case?

The D-ring should sit firmly on the case back with no wobble; a gentle pull test will show it holds the 314g weight without shifting.

Does the package include the radio or battery, or only the leather case with D-ring?

Only the leather case with the 3-inch fixed loop D-ring is supplied; the radio and any battery must be purchased separately.
