Leather Radio Case with 3" D-Ring

This leather carry case fits Motorola two-way radios including the APX9000, XPR3500, XPR7550 and DP4000ex series. A fixed 3-inch D-ring provides a secure belt-attachment point for hands-free operation in industrial and public-safety environments. The case is sold new and matches part numbers PMLN6099 and PMLN6099A. Black finish suits professional uniform requirements.

Passive Protection and Carry

The case uses a leather shell with no active cooling, fans or power draw, so it adds no noise or thermal load to the radio. The fixed D-ring keeps the device oriented vertically on a belt, reducing snag risk during movement. No batteries or electronic components are included, so there is no power consumption to consider.

Durability Under Daily Wear

Leather construction resists abrasion from repeated belt insertion and removal during full-shift use. The stitched seams and rigid D-ring maintain retention when the radio is subjected to vibration, bending or occasional impact. ISO9001-certified manufacturing supports consistent material quality for sustained field deployment.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the leather case to my radio belt clip, and which orientation of the 3" D-ring is correct?

Slide the radio into the case until it clicks, then thread your belt through the fixed 3" D-ring so the loop lies flat against your hip; the ring cannot rotate, so the case always faces forward.

What part of this leather case will wear out first and need replacement under daily use?

The stitched D-ring attachment and the leather flap edges see the most abrasion; expect to replace the case when stitching frays or the ring bends.

What limits how long the radio stays secure in this case during a full shift of movement?

The fixed 3" D-ring holds the case in one position; if the belt is wider than the ring opening the case can shift, so belt width is the practical limit.
