Pro Blue Masking Tape 38010

This premium painter's grade blue masking tape measures 1 inch by 60 yards and is built for contractors and serious DIY painters who need clean edges on walls, trim and floors. It adheres well to lacquered or polyurethane surfaces and is strong enough to hold protective sheeting such as visqueen or high-density plastic during preparation.

14 Day UV Resistance Limit

The tape is rated to resist UV rays for up to 14 days, so it must be removed within that window to guarantee clean release. Extended exposure to sunlight or heat beyond the rated period can cause adhesive transfer or tearing, making it unsuitable for projects left masked for longer durations.

Easy Hand Tear Application

The tape offers good tear strength, allowing straight strips to be ripped by hand without a dispenser or knife. Its conformability helps it follow curves and irregular surfaces, though dust, oil or damp substrates will reduce adhesion and can lead to paint bleed or lifting at the edges.
