Portable Smart Projector with Android 14

The Gaems Gimbal A1 is a compact LCD projector running Android 14 with built-in Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth5.4. It delivers a native 720p picture at 260 ANSI lumens while decoding 1080p and 4K sources with HDR10+ optimisation. Designed for indoor use in darkened rooms, it suits families wanting a simple large-screen movie experience without a dedicated installation. The 1.32 kilogram chassis makes it easy to move between rooms or take on occasional trips.

Auto Focus Gimbal and 6D Keystone

A motorised gimbal enables 180° rotation so the image can be aimed at walls or ceilings without moving the base. Three-second AI auto focus and 6D keystone correction automatically square the picture even when the unit sits off-centre. Connections include HDMI for external video, USB for media playback and wireless streaming via Wi-Fi 6. The integrated speakers handle casual viewing, while Bluetooth5.4 allows private listening through headphones or a soundbar.

Upgrade from Basic Mini Projectors

This model replaces entry-level mini projectors that require manual focus and keystone dials each time they are moved. The jump is worth it for buyers who value instant setup and smart apps over maximum brightness or native 1080p resolution. It is not suited for well-lit living rooms, permanent ceiling mounts needing lens shift, or users who need multiple HDMI ports for consoles and streaming sticks simultaneously.

Questions about this item

What does the HDMI input cap at for external 4K sources?

The HDMI port accepts 4K signals but the native panel is 720p, so external 4K content is downscaled to 720p for display.

What clearance does the 1.32 kilogram gimbal body need to rotate 180°?

At 1.32 kilograms it needs a stable shelf or ceiling bracket rated for at least that weight, plus enough clearance for the gimbal to swing through its full 180° without hitting walls or furniture.

How do you complete the Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth5.4 pairing during the first Android 14 boot?

After power-on, follow the Android 14 setup wizard to join a Wi-Fi 6 network, then pair Bluetooth5.4 devices; the auto focus and 6D keystone run automatically once the home screen appears.
