Trash Can Insect Killer Pod

The TERRO Garbage Guard is a pest control pod designed for outdoor or garage trash bins and dumpsters. It releases an odorless vapor that penetrates the enclosed space to kill visible and hidden flying and crawling insects. The product targets roaches, flies, maggots and gnats while preventing new infestations. It is supplied as a single pack for one container.

Vapor Requires Enclosed Space

The vapor action depends on keeping the lid closed to maintain concentration inside the bin. It is not designed for open areas or locations where people remain for extended periods. Effectiveness is limited to the interior volume of the trash can or dumpster where the pod is mounted. Outdoor weather conditions may influence the diffusion rate.

Adhesive Mount Under Lid

Installation consists of removing the backing from the adhesive strip and pressing the pod onto the underside of the trash can lid. The surface should be cleaned first for superior adhesion. The pod must be replaced after four months or when effectiveness diminishes. The main failure point is poor adhesion causing the unit to fall into the waste.
