Gardner Bender GST-224M Cable Stripper

The Gardner Bender GST-224M Cable Stripper is a hand tool designed to strip insulation from 14 to 12 AWG solid and stranded wires. It features an adjustable stripping mechanism and a spring-loaded handle for comfortable, repetitive use. The stainless steel construction provides durability for professional and DIY electrical tasks.

Electricians and DIYers stripping standard Romex

This stripper suits electricians and DIYers working with 14/2 and 12/2 NM-B cable in residential wiring projects. The spring action reduces hand fatigue during long runs of rough-in work. Users needing to process wires outside the 14 to 12 AWG range or requiring coaxial or data cable stripping should select a different tool.

Adjustable 14 to 12 AWG stripping range

The single specification that decides fit is the adjustable stripping range calibrated for 14 to 12 AWG solid and stranded conductors. Verify your wire gauge matches this window before purchase. The tool carries a California Proposition 65 warning for chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm.
