The Garmin Approach G82 combines a portable launch monitor with a premium GPS golf handheld. A 5" high-resolution touchscreen displays 43,000+ preloaded CourseView maps. Radar technology measures ball speed, club speed, smash factor and swing tempo at the range. The integrated launch monitor also captures putting stroke length, tempo, and club and ball speed on the green.

Upgrade from basic GPS units or rangefinders

This device replaces standalone rangefinders or basic GPS watches that only provide yardages. The jump is worth it when you want radar-measured launch data and putting analysis in a single unit. Bag mapping evaluates typical distances for each club and feeds the virtual caddie for on-course club recommendations. A built-in magnetic mount and included bag clip offer flexible attachment to a cart or bag.
