All-Terrain Motorcycle Navigator

The Garmin zumo XT2 is a portable navigation device built for motorcycle riders who need a dedicated GPS unit. Its ultrabright 6.0 inch sunlight-readable display works in both landscape and portrait orientation. The device is app-enabled and connects with the Tread app on a smartphone for extended features. It weighs 0.89 lb and measures 4 inches wide.

Solo riders and group tourers

This navigator suits solo riders who want visual route planning and ride summaries on a large, glare-resistant screen. It also serves group tourers who use the Group Ride Mobile feature to track friends via the Tread app. Riders who prefer a smaller form factor or who rely solely on a phone mount for navigation should consider other options.

Mount, power and smartphone pairing

The unit mounts to a motorcycle and draws power from the bike's electrical system for continuous operation. Pairing with a smartphone unlocks BirdsEye Direct satellite imagery and live tracking through the Tread app. This setup frees the rider from handling a phone while riding and keeps the navigator visible in direct sunlight.
