Outdoor Propane Fryer with Dual Baskets

The Gas One FFS-1800 is an 18 quart propane deep fryer built for outdoor cooking. It serves home cooks, campers and professional chefs who need high capacity for large gatherings or commercial use. The unit combines an aluminum pot, cast iron burner and rustproof metal body for durability under intensive use.

Assembly and Operation Notes

The fryer arrives as a freestanding unit that connects to a standard propane tank via regulator hose. Manual thermostat control requires the user to monitor the included thermometer and adjust flame height accordingly. No non-stick coating means thorough cleaning after each use is essential to prevent oil residue buildup on the aluminum surface.

Propane Interface Constraints

Heat output is fixed at 9690 watts from the cast iron burner, limiting temperature precision to manual flame adjustment. The 18 quart oil capacity sets a maximum batch size; larger volumes require multiple cycles. Operation depends entirely on propane supply pressure and ambient wind conditions, which can affect recovery time between batches.
