Ultra-slim 15.6" FHD laptop

The Gateway GAGWNR71517-BK-R is a 15.6-inch Full HD laptop powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 3700U processor with Radeon RX Vega 10 graphics. It comes with 8 GB of memory and a 512 GB solid-state drive running Windows 11 Home. The IPS display delivers a 1920 x 1080 resolution in a lightweight 4.0 kg chassis.

Upgrade from slower storage or less memory

Replacing a mechanical hard drive with the 512 GB SSD cuts boot and application load times dramatically. The 8 GB RAM and Ryzen 7 3700U combination handles multitasking and everyday productivity more smoothly than entry-level dual-core systems. The jump is worth it when your current device feels sluggish on web browsing, document work or video playback.

Suits students and office workers needing

This configuration fits users who want a thin, light notebook for coursework, email and streaming on Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2. The spill-resistant backlit keyboard and 2.0 MP webcam support long typing sessions and video calls. Buyers who want more storage, a touchscreen, dedicated graphics or a higher-colour-gamut panel should look at other models.
