Check input source and voltage margin

Verify that your supply is a stable DC source within the 9V to 35V range and always leave a voltage margin below the 35V maximum. Pulsed DC from a generator must be filtered with a capacitor before connection, and a solar panel’s open-circuit voltage must not exceed the converter’s maximum withstand voltage.
