Adjustable DC Buck Converter Module
This DROK CNC buck converter steps down an input range of 6 to 70 volts to a regulated output of 0 to 60 volts at up to 10 amps and 600 watts. Seven fixed output voltages can be selected, including 5, 12, 24, 36, 48 and 60 volts. An LCD colour screen displays operating parameters in real time. A temperature-controlled fan and large heatsink maintain thermal stability under load.
Input and Output Voltage Constraints
The converter requires a source between 6 and 70 volts and cannot produce an output higher than 60 volts. Maximum continuous current is 10 amps and total power must not exceed 600 watts. Fixed voltage steps are limited to the seven preset values listed in the specifications. The unit is a step-down topology only; it cannot boost voltage above the input level.
Compatibility Checks Before Ordering
Verify that your power source stays within the 6 to 70 volt input window and can supply sufficient current for the intended load. Confirm that the connected device operates at one of the available fixed voltages or within the adjustable 0 to 60 volt range. Ensure the installation environment allows airflow for the cooling fan and that wiring can handle the required current without excessive voltage drop.

Questions about this item
Should I use the fixed 5V, 12V, 24V, 36V, 48V or 60V output setting, or the adjustable 0-60V range for my project?
Choose a fixed voltage (5V, 9V, 12V, 24V, 36V, 48V, 60V) for simple, stable loads like LED strips or router power. Use the adjustable 0-60V range when you need to fine-tune voltage for battery charging, motor speed control or prototyping different circuits.
What does the 600W rating mean when I connect this to a 12V battery?
At 12V output the 600W limit allows up to 10A continuous current. If you draw more than 10A the over-current protection will trip, and the temperature-controlled fan will spin up to keep the module cool during sustained loads.
What input voltage range does the DC jack accept, and what happens if I exceed 70V?
The input accepts 6-70V DC. Supplying more than 70V triggers the input over-voltage protection and can damage the converter, so keep your source — solar panel, battery bank or bench supply — within that window.
