Dual 4K KVM Switch Dock

The GCROWN 12-in-1 KVM switch lets you share two 4K monitors, a keyboard, mouse and a full set of peripherals between a laptop and a desktop. A single USB-C MST port handles video, data and 60 W charging for the laptop, while the desktop connects through HDMI, DisplayPort and USB-B. It is built for users who move between a work machine and a gaming rig without unplugging cables.

Aluminium chassis runs cool and silent

The all-metal enclosure dissipates heat passively so the unit stays quiet during long sessions. Power draw is limited to the 60 W USB-C upstream charge and the low-voltage logic needed for switching and EDID emulation. No fans or active cooling are present, keeping acoustic noise at zero in normal use.

One dock replaces a tangle of dongles

Two HDMI outputs drive dual displays at up to 4K 60 Hz or high-refresh 1080p and 1440p modes. Front-panel ports provide three USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, one USB-C at 20 Gbps, SD card, Gigabit LAN, Toslink optical and 3.5 mm headset jacks. Automatic PC wake-up and EDID simulation switch sources in 2-3 seconds. Buyers who need more than two video outputs or a second USB-C upstream port should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I connect both my laptop and desktop to the KVM switch for dual-monitor use?

Connect the laptop via the USB-C MST input port and the desktop via the integrated HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-B input ports. Both monitors plug into the two HDMI outputs.

What maintenance or replacement will the KVM switch need over time?

The full aluminium chassis is passively cooled with no moving parts, so no routine maintenance is required; only cables or power adapters may need replacement if they wear out.

What resolution and refresh-rate ceiling will I hit first during sustained gaming sessions?

The HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 links cap each monitor at 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4, while 1080p can reach 240 Hz and 1440p can reach 144 Hz.
