Two-computer KVM switch

The GCROWN 2-Port KVM Switch lets you operate two computers from a single monitor, keyboard and mouse. It is aimed at office workers, home-studio creators and anyone who needs to toggle between a work laptop and a personal desktop without extra peripherals. A push-button on the unit changes the active system instantly. No driver installation is required for the supported operating systems.

Bundled cables and multi-device support

The package includes two USB cables and two HDMI cables so both computers can be connected immediately. The switch also accepts game consoles such as PS4, PS4 Pro, PS3 and Xbox One, plus TV boxes and other HDMI sources. USB 3.0 ports allow sharing of printers or other peripherals between the connected devices. Green or blue LED indicators show which computer is currently active.

8K@60Hz maximum video resolution

The single HDMI output supports up to 8K at 60 Hz, with backward compatibility for 4K at 30 Hz and 4K at 60 Hz. This bandwidth ceiling determines whether the switch can drive your highest-resolution display without downscaling. Buyers needing more than one monitor or resolutions beyond 8K@60Hz should consider a different solution.

Questions about this item

Will the HDMI cables or the front-panel button wear out from daily switching?

The switch uses a mechanical push-button for port selection and ships with two HDMI cables; both are rated for repeated use but no cycle-life figure is published.

At 8K 60 Hz does the HDMI 2.1 bandwidth limit appear before the USB 3.0 hub saturates?

Video runs over HDMI 2.1 at 8K 60 Hz while peripheral traffic stays on the USB 3.0 hub, so each path hits its own spec ceiling independently.

Does the unit get warm or draw noticeable power when left on all day?

It is bus-powered from the connected computers with no external adapter and no fan, so heat and power draw stay minimal during continuous operation.
