Controls four computers with one monitor, keyboard, mouse and USB 3.0 peripherals at 4K 60 Hz or 2560×1440 120 Hz with EDID simulation
This GCROWN KVM switch lets four computers share one HDMI monitor, a wired or wireless keyboard and mouse, plus four USB 3.0 peripherals such as a printer or flash drive. Switching is handled by the front-panel buttons or the included wired remote, and LED indicators show the active system. EDID simulation preserves each computer's display settings so window layouts stay intact when you change inputs.
The switch suits home offices, labs or streaming setups where four PCs must drive a single screen and share USB devices at up to 5 Gbps. It supports ultrawide monitors and resolutions up to 4K at 60 Hz or 2560 x 1440 at 120 Hz, provided the source computers and HDMI 2.0 cables can deliver those modes. Buyers who need to control more than four systems or require USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds should look at other models.
The deciding specification is the maximum video bandwidth: 4K at 60 Hz and 2560 x 1440 at 120 Hz over HDMI 2.0. If your workflow demands higher refresh rates at 4K, HDR metadata pass-through, or DisplayPort inputs, this unit will not meet those requirements.

Plug each PC's HDMI cable into the four input ports, connect the monitor to the single HDMI output, attach keyboard and mouse to the dedicated USB console ports, then link the four USB 3.0 cables to the PCs; the step often missed is using HDMI 2.0 cables on every link to reach 4K@60Hz.
The unit has no user-serviceable parts; if the 12V power adapter or any of the five supplied cables fail, replace them with equivalents that meet HDMI 2.0 and USB 3.0 specs.
The HDMI 2.0 bandwidth ceiling caps the signal at 4K@60Hz, so extended sessions cannot exceed that refresh rate even if the monitor supports higher rates.
