2-in-3-out HDMI KVM for dual-PC triple-monitor

This GCROWN KVM switch lets you control two computers with one keyboard, one mouse and three shared monitors. It accepts two HDMI inputs and drives three HDMI outputs in either copy or extended mode. Each connected computer must provide three HDMI outputs and support multiple displays. Four USB 3.0 ports handle peripherals at up to 5 Gbps.

Switching button and 1.5 m wired remote free desk

Switch between the two computers using the front-panel button or the supplied external controller on a 1.5 m (4.9 ft) cable, so the main unit can sit out of sight. No hot-key switching is available. The four USB 3.0 ports share keyboards, mice, printers, scanners or external storage across both systems, reducing cable clutter.

Passive operation with 4K 60 Hz signalling

The switch passes 4K 60 Hz video without active cooling, so it adds no fan noise to the workspace. Power draw is limited to the USB 3.0 bus and the HDMI signal lines, keeping heat output negligible during normal use.

Questions about this item

What video resolution and refresh rate does the GCROWN KVM switch maintain across all three monitors?

The switch supports 4K resolution at 60 Hz on each of the three HDMI outputs, provided both source computers can drive that timing.

Does the unit add audible fan noise or noticeable heat when left running continuously?

The product information does not describe any cooling fan, so the device operates silently and produces only the minimal warmth typical of a passive HDMI switch.

What must each connected computer already have for the three-monitor extended mode to work?

Each computer needs a graphics card with three HDMI output ports and operating-system support for multi-monitor extended desktops.
