Connects wired devices to dual-band Wi-Fi at up to 867 Mbps on 5 GHz or 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz with two adjustable external antennas
The GCROWN AC1200 adapter lets any Ethernet-only device join a Wi-Fi network without drivers. It supports smart TVs, consoles, printers, Raspberry Pi units, switches or computers. Power comes from a standard electrical outlet so no USB port is required. The unit acts as a transparent bridge between the wired port and the wireless LAN.
On the 5 GHz band the link rate reaches up to 867 Mbps while the 2.4 GHz band tops out at 300 Mbps. These figures represent the physical-layer maximum under ideal conditions; real-world throughput will be lower and varies with distance, interference and router capability. The adapter maintains the connection continuously rather than bursting for short transfers.
Configuration uses WPS push-button pairing so no software installation is needed on the host device. Two external antennas can be angled for better signal pickup compared with internal designs. The product does not add Wi-Fi to devices that lack an Ethernet port and cannot serve as a standalone access point.

Yes, the adapter works with any 802.11n router and delivers up to 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, so legacy equipment connects without extra setup.
