Controls two computers across dual monitors at up to 8K30 or 4K144 with four USB 3.0 ports and a wired remote
This KVM switch lets one keyboard, mouse and two monitors control two computers or laptops. It supports extended or mirrored desktop modes across both displays. Four integrated USB 3.0 ports share peripherals such as printers or scanners between the connected systems. The unit is powered from the host USB cables and includes a wired remote for instant switching.
Instead of juggling individual DisplayPort cables and a standalone USB hub, this device consolidates both signals in a single box. The upgrade is worthwhile when you regularly move between two workstations and need 8K at 30 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz on each screen. Mixed-resolution inputs such as 4K at 60 Hz on one port and 1440p at 60 Hz on the other are handled automatically. Final output still depends on the graphics cards, monitors and cables used.
Connect each computer with the supplied cables to the DP 1.4 inputs and the USB 3.0 upstream ports. The four downstream USB 3.0 ports run at up to 5 Gbps and remain compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices. Driver-free operation works on Windows 11, 10, 8, 7, XP and Mac OS. The wired remote keeps the switch itself out of sight while providing quick source changes. Not suited for setups that need more than two video sources or single-monitor operation.

The switch provides four DisplayPort 1.4 inputs for the two computers and two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs for the monitors; all four cables are included in the box.
Connect each computer to a pair of DP inputs and the monitors to the DP outputs, plug the USB cables into each computer for power and peripheral sharing, then press the wired remote button to toggle — the step often missed is ensuring both USB cables are seated so the switch receives power from both hosts.
The four included DisplayPort cables and the USB cables may need replacement if connectors wear or cables are damaged; the wired remote is a simple push-button unit with no battery, so it only requires a new cable if the lead fails.
