A dual-monitor KVM switch lets two computers share two displays and four USB 3.0 peripherals with support for 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz
This DisplayPort 1.4 KVM switch lets two computers share two monitors and four USB 3.0 peripherals such as keyboards, mice, printers or flash drives. A 12 V power adapter is included so connected USB devices receive stable current that host ports alone cannot supply. Each computer must provide two DisplayPort outputs to drive both screens.
The switch maintains 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz continuously while toggling between systems, with backward compatibility down to 1080p and 720p. Extended mode spans the desktop across both monitors, while copy mode duplicates the same image on each screen. Stable operation requires all cables, monitors and host GPUs to meet the DP 1.4 specification.
Passive cooling keeps the unit silent during normal desktop use, and the external 12 V adapter handles peak USB load without drawing excessive power from host ports. The metal enclosure dissipates heat from the switching logic, so surface temperatures stay low even during long sessions. No fan noise or active cooling is present.

The unit ships with a 12V external power adapter that supplies stable current to the four USB 3.0 ports and the DP 1.4 video circuitry so hard drives and other bus-powered devices work reliably during continuous operation.
Each computer needs two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs (DP1 and DP2) to drive both monitors, plus a free USB 3.0 port for the upstream connection to the KVM's built-in hub.
Yes, the DP 1.4 KVM is backward compatible with 1080p and 720p resolutions, so legacy displays function normally while still supporting up to 8K60 and 4K120 on newer panels.
