Adds a gigabit Ethernet port and three USB 3.0 ports to USB-C devices, with a braided cable tested to 10000 bends
This adapter adds a wired gigabit ethernet port and three USB 3.0 ports to devices with USB-C or USB-A sockets. It targets laptop, tablet and phone users who need a stable network link and extra peripheral connections without internal upgrades. Plug-and-play operation avoids driver installation on supported hosts.
The ethernet port delivers up to 1 Gbps and falls back to 100 Mbps, 10 Mbps or 1 Mbps where infrastructure demands it. Three USB 3.0 ports run at 5 Gbps each and remain backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices. Bandwidth is shared across the hub, so simultaneous maximum throughput on all ports is not guaranteed.
A combined USB-C and USB-A plug lets the unit work with either port type on the host. This covers newer USB-C laptops, tablets and phones as well as older USB-A systems. Buyers whose devices offer only proprietary docking connectors or lack USB entirely cannot use this adapter.

Yes, the USB 3.0 hub is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1, so it will function on older ports at their native speeds.
Check the network status on your device; it should report a 1 Gbps connection, and the adapter supports 100 Mbps, 10 Mbps, and 1 Mbps fallback speeds.
The adapter has a built-in USB Type-C and Type-A plug design, so no extra cable is required; the box contains the hub only.
