40 A Bolt-On Breaker for GE AE Panels

The GE TEY240 is a moulded-case circuit breaker rated at 40 A for 277/480 V AC systems. It uses a thermal-magnetic trip mechanism with a fixed instantaneous setting and a high amp trip setting of 200. The two-pole design mounts directly onto compatible GE AE lighting panelboards using a bolt-on connection.

14 kA Interrupting Rating at Rated Voltage

This breaker carries a maximum AIR rating of 14 kA at 277/480 V AC, defining its capacity to safely interrupt fault currents within that limit. It is also rated for 250 V DC operation. The standard frame size is 125 A, and the trip unit type is designated as Standard with a thermal-magnetic response curve.

Compact Bolt-On Mounting with Lug Terminals
