A 100 A, two-pole bolt-on breaker rated 120/240 V AC with a 10 kA interrupting capacity for load-centre protection
The GE THQB breaker is a bolt-on miniature circuit breaker rated at 100 amps for 120/240 V AC single-phase panels. It provides standard overcurrent protection for lighting and load-centre applications with a 10 kA interrupting rating at the rated voltage. The toggle actuator gives clear on/off indication and the lug terminals accept conductors from 6 AWG up to 1/0 AWG.
This breaker suits installers fitting a 100 A two-pole device into a compatible GE load centre or lighting panel where bolt-on mounting is required. It is not intended for DC circuits, three-phase systems or panels that accept only plug-on breakers, and it cannot serve applications needing a higher interrupting rating or a different frame size.
The maximum AIR rating of 10 kA at 120/240 V AC determines whether the breaker can safely clear a fault in the target installation. Verify that the available fault current at the panel does not exceed this value before specifying the device.

The breaker includes a terminal connection lug for wire sizes from 6 AWG to 1/0 AWG, so no separate lug purchase is required.
Select the 100 A two-pole model when the circuit requires 100 A protection on a 120/240 V AC single-phase panel; other amp ratings protect different load levels.
It means the breaker can safely interrupt up to 10 kA of fault current at 120/240 V AC, protecting the panel and downstream wiring during a short circuit.
