A 30 A, two-pole bolt-on breaker rated 120/240 V AC with a 10 kA interrupting capacity for load-center mounting
The GE THQB2130 is a standard bolt-on circuit breaker rated at 30 amps for 120/240V AC single-phase systems. It uses a toggle actuator and provides a 10kA interrupting rating at the rated voltage. This two-pole device fits THQB series load centres and lighting panels. It is not suited for DC applications or panels requiring plug-in style breakers.
The breaker carries a continuous 30A load within the 100A frame size during normal operation. Its toggle mechanism provides a clear visual indication of the on, off, or tripped state without auxiliary contacts. Power dissipation follows standard thermal-magnetic trip curves for the THQB series design. No active cooling or noise-generating components are present in this passive protection device.
The bolt-on mounting style secures the breaker directly to the panel bus with screws for a stable connection in vibration-prone environments. Screw-clamp terminals accept copper wire from 14 MCM up to 8 MCM and aluminium wire from 12 MCM up to 8 MCM. The compact frame measures 3.5 in length, 1 in width, and 3.3 in depth to fit standard panel cavities. Buyers needing plug-in installation or DC voltage ratings should select a different model.

Mount the breaker onto the panel bus using the bolt-on hardware, then secure the load conductors in the screw-clamp terminals; the step often missed is tightening the clamp screws to the specified torque for 14 MCM copper or 12 MCM aluminium wire.
The breaker itself is a non-serviceable unit; plan to replace it if the toggle fails to latch, if it trips at currents well below 30 A, or after it has interrupted a fault near its 10 kA interrupting rating.
The 30 A thermal trip curve is the first limit; sustained current at or above 30 A will cause the breaker to open, while the 100 A frame and 10 kA interrupting capacity remain unused.
